Scotland 2023!

In 2021 the Avondale Theatre Company applied for, and was accepted, to perform as part of the 2022 Festival Fringe in Scotland. This marked the third time that the ATC was accepted, making them one of only a handful of schools in the United States to claim that honor. After much deliberation, the Theatre Boosters of Avondale executive board felt that 2022 was just not the right time. There were too many variables and not enough time to raise the amount of money needed to travel. Instead of accepting our withdrawal from the festival, AHSTF so graciously extended the invitation to the following year! And so 37 students from the Avondale Theatre Company, along with 22 adults and 2 siblings are preparing for the trip of a lifetime in the summer of 2023!

The ATC has made it their goal to raise enough money to cover the 28% of non-travel costs for each traveler. As you can imagine, it is no small undertaking. We have raised several thousand dollars by having a monthly bottle drive, among other various fundraisers, but we need to raise a lot more to meet our goal.
